Background Project Overview
Insulgard is a leading provider of bullet resistant glass in the United States. Typically bullet and blast resistant protection are selected by architects or glazing contractors — not the end user of the product. This presents an interesting marketing challenge as messaging needs to appeal to very different audiences. Building and store owners have different needs than contractors who are hired to help.
The Design Our Solution
We started with a deep dive into all markets Insulgard is targeting, developing detailed personas for each one. Then we revisited their corporate branding and explored how to evolve their message while remaining consistent with the visual language their customers are familiar with. We then designed a mobile-friendly website aimed at making the buying selection easier with quick access to relevant products, a searchable CAD file directory, and downloadable data sheets.
