The position
We’re looking for a Senior WordPress Developer who loves user experience, thoughtful solutions, and WordPress as much as we do.
This fully remote position includes flexible work time and a focus on balancing amazing work and personal life.

- 2-3 years of building custom WordPress themes

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Taking mock-ups and converting them into responsive WordPress websites
- Building custom, full-featured WordPress themes from scratch
- Building custom WordPress functionality using actions, filters, ajax, custom queries, custom post types, taxonomies, etc…
- Configuring WordPress plugins
- Launching websites
- Communicating with clients
- Building and iterating on our premium WordPress products
Qualifications:
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, responsive design and HTML/CSS/SCSS
- Ability to setup and work from local environments
- Expert at hand-coding custom themes based on design mockups
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Patience–aka not grumpy 🙂
Other important details:
Graphic design skills are not required; however, a keen eye for design and understanding of usability best practices are big pluses.
